Well, shiny and cloudy Sunday. Here I am at Old Canteen A to cram for my last two papers to go on Wednesday. The other 3 papers tested last few days, all seems to be YEA, NOT SO GOOD, OKAY. Never mind, I always told myself to enjoy every paper I had regardless of how well I had prepared. =). Half term break is coming and I have thought to make a plan for my holiday activity - not to just let it slip off. BIG PROJECT is up soon, under planning though, so I need to grasp every skill and resource as many as possible beforehand. Yea, maybe I need to create the holiday plan somewhere, maybe tagging it in my blog here or my personal note? And sure gotta be executed.

Anyway, goodluck for those who still have some papers to go. =)

Yea this few days - exactly 'recess week' named academically under my University, I have routinely paid a visit to library to study for my upcoming midterm exams and meeting for some group projects. Guess how many? They are 4 exams and 2 group projects in total. Nothing I can do other than complying with my inner-self's call for study. It is hard to begin submerging with my lessons, but after quite a time, it is nice dating with my lecture notes and textbooks. For some reasons, I have never learnt my modules; most of it due to my lack of interest when the lecturers start explaining in a different style of thinking from mine, causing me airhead for at least 2 hours at Lecture Hall.

However, it never puts me down for I believe I can learnt it by myself with my own approach to theories, theorems, problems, etc. You may say me being stubborn for counting on myself much more than other. This habit had long been practised since my early second-year of my Junior High School although it may be slow to absorb by myself, no doubt it makes things stick on my head. Don't worry. Filling this week with studying my stuffs, I found that it was not as dull as what I foresaw. Mugging with some friends is one part of the reassurances. Never did I forget to put my mental for rest with playing some boardgames with my fellows.

Forget about the midterms, lets talk about others...

Well, one of a best of mine made her way to my University to mozart-ing with my other friend. OK, I will try to explicate this fellow for you, readers. She is nice, outgoing, extraverted, cheerful, may be childish some time (hahaha). I can say it was my second time meeting up directly with this fellow. I befriend genuinely with her via MSN. Just how weird to know someone better than others who I always meet everyday. I am sure you may choose to befriend with her rather than go for a date. Ow yea, I forget to mention that you may laugh a lot when talking to this devil-may-care kind of person - carefreeness XD. Pity for those who has not made friend with her.

This few days, apart from the international issues of Currency War (known as 3rd World War), the local haze originated from my home country's forest fire has been enveloping most parts of Singapore and pollute the clean air around my University (Actually, I am one of those affected). Protests and quests for mitigating this issues to Indonesia have shaked the Ministry of Forestry to enunciate that Malaysia and Singapore only know how to blame Indonesia and ask for remedy but never had them think of who (Indonesia) supplies them with clean air. Lets pray and see how they gonna do about this :)

All in all, I love my recess week!! Perhaps I will stop writing here! Seeking for some free times to post again. Good night!! =D

Looking for Inspiration

Last week, I went to Medan Fair which is one of the shopping mall in Medan. I rarely go there because it is quite far from my home. My main objective going to the mall was to look for any cellphone to give away to my maternal grandma, a bit of my gratification as a grandson. Well, she lived in Tebing Tinggi, quite far away from my hometown Medan. Hope she like it.

After purchasing the cellphone; as usual, I went down to the third floor (if I am not mistaken) to find the usual bookstore. Well, there were so many books indeed, but I was trying to find either any interesting English book or my favourite Newsweek/The Economist/Bloomberg business week magazines. I just realize they do not entertain any english version books. Whuuh..

At last, when I was about to go to parking lot, I passed an attractive small bookstore on the 1st floor which I never saw before. I went nearer to find out and it was times bookstore. It is a joint venture between one of the bookstore business in Singapore and PT Matahari Indonesia, one of Indonesia's leading retail group. times sells all imported English books from New York Times. Not only does it sell any novel, but also magazines, children care books down to the new-released books. Surely, Newsweek and any similar magazines are sold there. So, for you Medanese citizens, if you are looking for English version books, I strongly recommend all of you to go down there and check it out.

The moment when I was about to leave the bookstore, I found a poster clinging on the glass wall inviting all of Indonesia fellows to join the times essay competition. Well, suddenly, my heart was moved. I was enthusiastically keen to participate. Fortunately, the submission deadline is prolonged to Aug, 31th 2010. Prizes are not grand but most importantly, I will take this event as my exercise before joining the upcoming competition in January 2011 (World Bank Essay Competition). I also would like to know how good I am in writing essay since this is my first time joining essay competition. Coming back home, I directly starts conceptualizing ideas to later on form a draft. I will be going back Singapore in Aug,29th 2010 to welcome my new study term at NTU. I planned to finish my essay before the day I go back. Now I am half-way to finish it. lol. Wish me luck.

THE DREAMER HAS COME BACK

This evening, at 6:39 pm, I am officially back to write my blog. For your information, the previous contents of my blog had been removed due to the disorderliness of the posts. I hope this blog will be better than the last release one. Well, for you who do not get to whom the title refers to. Ya, it's me. I called myself the dreamer simply because I am an idealist for sure, I believe the day will come when people live in an ideal world. Secondly, I dream almost every single of my night; I know it's weird, but I suspect myself being too reflective.
